Spanish Ambassador to Argentina since January 2007. 

Prioer to this appointment, Rafael Estrella  has been PSOE’s Member of the Spanish Parliament representing Granada . He was the Socialist Spokesman at Foreign Affairs Committe of the Congreso de los Diputados.

Born in Almería (1950). He got a Degree in Geography and History at  the   University of Granada. He has been  member of the Spanish  Senate (1979-1993) y of the European Parliament (1986-87). Between 1993 and 2006, he was a member of the Congreso de los Diputados.
